Terms and Conditions for Participation in the Campingaz Advent Sweepstakes 2025

Participation in the Campingaz Advent Sweepstakes is free of charge and is exclusively subject to these terms and conditions of participation.

1. Subject of the Terms and Conditions of Participation and Organizer

These terms and conditions of participation govern the conditions for participation in one or more sweepstakes as part of the Advent Sweepstakes series on our Instagram page, as well as any necessary transfer of rights. The description and procedure of each sweepstake will be provided within the scope of the respective sweepstake on the Instagram page of Campingaz BBQ Germany, Austria & Switzerland.

The organizer of the sweepstakes is Camping Gaz (Deutschland) GmbH, Am Eisernen Steg 20, D-65795 Hattersheim.

By participating in the respective sweepstake, these terms and conditions of participation are accepted. The period of the sweepstakes series and the prizes are as follows:

Nov 30 (10:00 AM) - Dec 24, 2025 (11:59 PM)
Prize: 1x 3 Series Onyx S worth €799.00 together with 1x Culinary Modular Cast Iron Pan worth €69.99 together with 1x Premium Plancha Lid worth €44.99.

The sweepstakes is not connected to Facebook/Instagram; it is neither sponsored, supported, nor organized by Facebook/Instagram. By participating in the sweepstakes, the participant releases Facebook/Instagram from any liability.

2. Participation

All individuals who are 18 years of age or older and reside in Germany are eligible to participate in the sweepstakes. Employees of Camping Gaz Deutschland GmbH and affiliated companies, as well as relatives of such employees, are excluded. Participation with fake identities or identities of third parties is not permitted. Furthermore, the operator reserves the right to exclude persons from participation at its sole discretion if there are legitimate reasons, for example:

(a) in case of manipulation in connection with access to or execution of the sweepstakes, (b) in case of violations of these terms and conditions of participation, (c) in case of unfair practices, or (d) in case of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the sweepstakes.

To participate in the sweepstakes, it is necessary to follow the campingaz_de Instagram account and to like and comment on the sweepstakes post that will be published on the day the sweepstakes starts (see period). Entries received after the closing date for entries will not be considered in the draw.

Only one submitted registration per participant will be entered into the sweepstakes. It is strictly forbidden to use multiple accounts to increase the chances of winning.

Participation in the sweepstakes is free of charge.

3. Prizes and Notification of Winners

The winner will be determined by a random draw among all participants. If the sweepstakes is linked to a task, only those participants who have correctly completed the task will be entered into the draw.

The winner of the draw will be notified of the prize promptly via an Instagram direct message.

The prize will only be handed over to the winner. An exchange, self-collection, or cash payment of the prize is not possible. The prize is not transferable. Prizes will be shipped starting January 6, 2026.

The winner is responsible for any taxation of the prize. Prizes will be sent to the winner by mail to the address provided. Any costs incurred for shipping the prizes will be borne by the operator. Upon handover of the prize to a transport person, the risk passes to the winner. We are not responsible for delivery damages. Additional costs associated with claiming the prize are the responsibility of the winner.

If the winner does not respond within a period of 2 weeks after being requested, the claim to the prize expires and the prize may be transferred to another participant.

Only one prize per participant is possible.

Should circumstances arise for which we are not responsible, the respective winner accepts a reasonable substitute prize. Such circumstances for which we are not responsible include, in particular, those that lie with the sponsors of the prizes.

4. Data Protection

To participate in the sweepstakes, personal data must be provided. The participant assures that the personal information provided, in particular first name, last name, and email address, is truthful and accurate.

The organizer points out that all personal data of the participant will neither be passed on to third parties nor made available to them for use without consent.

The participant can revoke their declared consent at any time. The revocation must be sent in writing to the contact details provided by Camping Gaz. After revocation of consent, the collected and stored personal data of the participant will be deleted immediately.

5. Exclusion

A violation of these terms and conditions of participation entitles us to exclude the respective participant from participation. This applies in particular if the participant provides false information or if used photos or other content (e.g. comments) violate applicable law or the rights of third parties. The same applies to comments that can be considered glorifying violence, offensive, harassing, or denigrating, or that otherwise violate generally accepted moral standards.

If the excluded participant is an already drawn winner, the prize can be subsequently revoked.

6. Premature Termination and Changes

We reserve the right to terminate the online Advent calendar, including its integrated promotions, in whole or in part prematurely at any time, even without observing notice periods, or to change its course, particularly if it is not possible to guarantee a proper execution of the sweepstakes due to technical reasons (e.g., computer virus, manipulation of or errors in software/hardware) or legal reasons (e.g., prohibition by Facebook/Instagram).

7. Final Provisions

Should the terms and conditions of participation contain invalid provisions, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

German law applies. Legal recourse for reviewing the draw is excluded.

3. Informational Use of Our Campaign

As long as you visit our campaign purely for informational purposes, i.e., without registering or using another offer that requires prior registration, only the following data will be collected:

●      Operating system you are using during your visit

●      The last website you visited (i.e., before switching to us)

●      The pages you visit on our site

●      Date of visit, time of visit, duration of visit and frequency of use

●      IP address of the internet device you use for your visit

The IP address is the globally valid, unique identifier of each individual internet device. It serves as an address through which data is sent to the device from the internet, e.g., images of our campaign. If the IP address were not recorded, our internet pages would not be able to respond to your input and inquiries and would not be able to communicate with your device.

An informational visit is only stored for statistical purposes, to optimize our website, and for system security purposes. For this, only storage in anonymized form is required. It is not possible to draw conclusions about an individual visitor. We do not create usage profiles or similar for visitors who only visit our website for informational purposes.

4. Participation in the campaign

If you wish to register for the campaign, we also require personal data from you, namely:

5. Collection and Use of Data

After successful registration for the campaign, we also use your data to personalize future visits, for example, to greet you by name or to send you campaign results via email.

We only collect personal data that you voluntarily provide to us. No personal data is collected without your consent.

Personal data is used strictly for the intended purpose to the extent necessary and strictly in accordance with legal requirements.

6. Data Storage Location

Generally, all data mentioned in this privacy policy are stored and processed in our own databases or in the databases of companies that act as service providers for us in data processing on commission within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR; see also section 9. Disclosure of data to third parties for such service providers.

7. Disclosure of data to third parties

If it is necessary for the provision of our services or due to organizationally conditioned processing procedures to pass on your personal data to third parties, we only pass on the data that are absolutely necessary for the specific purpose. Such third parties are also obliged to comply with data protection regulations and data secrecy.

Should you win a prize, your personal data required for the handover of the prize will be transmitted to the respective cooperation partner (e.g., a company that has donated a prize, or a shipping company). The data will be stored there until the expiry of the statutory retention periods; furthermore, the winner agrees to the publication of their name and place of residence in the advertising media used by the organizer. This includes the announcement of the winner in our communication channels, on our website and our social media platforms.

8. Data deletion

Unless there is an obligation to comply with legal retention periods (see above), all personal data stored in connection with the campaign will be deleted by us after the end of the campaign, notification of the winners, and handover of the prizes.

9. Right of revocation and objection, deletion of participant data

You can revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. If you make use of this option, we will delete your personal data immediately, as far as they are no longer needed.

If there are legal retention obligations or if the data are still needed for billing purposes, the data can only be deleted after the expiry of the retention obligations or after billing.

Personal data provided when participating in a campaign can be deleted at any time. All that is required is an email to info@campingaz.de with a corresponding note. Upon request, all data records relating to the participant, including their personal data, will be irrevocably deleted as soon as possible from the databases of the organizer or the company commissioned by them with the technical implementation of the campaign, unless there is a legal obligation to comply with retention periods. At the same time, all data collected in connection with the campaign (e.g., answers to quiz questions) will also be deleted.

10. Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", which are text files stored on your computer that allow an analysis of your use of the website. 11. Use of Google reCaptcha

We use reCaptcha on our websites. reCaptcha is a service provided by Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and serves to prevent abusive automated inputs in web forms and thus to protect the technical systems of the hoster. For this purpose, we use it, and this is also our legitimate interest, Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR. 12. Social Plugins

This website uses the AddToAny social plugin, which allows visitors to share certain content on social networks and other services. Visitors to our campaign can voluntarily activate the integrated AddToAny and use it to establish a direct connection to various social networks and services. In this case, personal data may also be transmitted. We ourselves do not collect any personal data via the social plugins or through their use.

15. Changes to this supplementary privacy policy

We reserve the right to change this supplementary privacy policy. We will inform you about such changes by a notice in our campaign.
