French beefsteak with a sophisticated marinade

Ingredients
  • 1 kg beef (e.g. fillet) whole
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 1 tablespoon fresh coriander
  • 3 tablespoons Kikkoman soy sauce
  • Black pepper and table salt

  • Cut the beef into steak slices about 2.5cm thick and weighing 180-200g. Prepare the marinade with the chopped ginger, coriander, and soy sauce.
  • Place the meat in a bowl and spread the marinade over it. Then place the bowl and meat in the refrigerator to marinate for about 2 hours.
  • Grill the steaks on the contact grill for about 5 minutes. Season the meat with salt and pepper after grilling. Don't add too much salt, as the soy sauce is already quite salty.
